Hello everyone 
. My name is Luke Strickland and I just joined. I have been running for some time now, but decided to pretty much stop due to a lot of injuries and just getting bored. Plus, I just couldn't keep any weight on running heh. I am 17, male, live in Palm Harbor, Florida (Tampa Bay area), go to St. Petersburg college and have a huge interest in cycling. I have aolways been interested in bikes since I was like 9-10 years old. I used to BMX for fun around age 13, but stoped when I started running. Right now I am only commuting everyday on my BMX (yea, I ride 10 miles a day on my BMX everyday heh 
) to school and back, but am about to buy a cheap, used road bike. I plan on starting a training program, but nothing too big as I am just starting out . I think I eventually want to start competing, but right now just bike for fun and fitness. I have a lot of nutrition and training questions, but will ask those in the appropriate forum . I hope to meet everyone soon.
