Hello
Hello from Grand Rapids. Using cycling as a primary part of my recovery. I had hardware removed from my leg last week (think Kevin Ware) and I'm itching to get on the road. I'm currently riding a tadpole...

Hi, Scott. I am in GR as well. Good to see our fair city gain another representative on this forum. Hope you do well with the recovery. If you need any work done on your bent, I know a guy that does work from his home and is an early convert to the bent format. Seems to know quite a bit about the various quirks that go with them. He is also extremely anal retentive with the details! Drives me nuts! haha

Hi Scott, glad that you have come to BF, there are many of us using bikes for recovery as well as fitness and enjoyment. Been there with the hardware, mines still in my back!. Visit our Recumbent Forum to meet others riding the 'Bent way.

Great to see so many responses. I've been riding the trike, but moving back to two wheels. I am being pretty aggressive this year and looking at some pretty big rides. Joining my son for a Scout trip to ride the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota, should be fun. If that goes well, I'm hoping to do the MSU Gran Fondo in late June.
