Newb checking in
Name's Jesse, 22 years old. Just bought my first bike since childhood, a SE Lager last Saturday. Rode it 8 Miles home, thankfully mostly at an easy downhill grade. Butt recovery is going well lol. Bought it to lose a little weight I've gained. Haven't got up the courage to flip the hub yet, I think I'll try after the race for the cure that I will be riding in this weekend. Found this site while on Google looking for info on fixies. Thought I'd join to learn more. See y'all around. Oh, and I live in SLC. Thanks for having me

Hi Jesse, great to have you join us here at BF. Best of luck on the Ride for the Cure, that is quite an undertaking for a new rider. We have a Fixed Gear/Single Speed Forum you should look in to, and find your area in the Regional Forums so you can set up rides with others.
