Hi from Long Island, NY
Hello all!
I have a 20 year old, suspensionless Diamondback that weighs more than Heaven and Earth combined. I purchased it new and rode it regularly and aggressively on single track dirt for five years. Then, I went to graduate school and it sat in my parents' shed for 10 years. Five years ago, I pulled it out of storage and started riding again - mostly to and from the supermarket. I recently moved to a location that's near some of Long Island's best paved off-road bikepaths. I hope to kick-start myself back into shape on this heavy metal beast and perhaps upgrade to a lighter road bike at some point. |
Welcome aboard :)

Hello Qtoffer, welcome to BF, glad you joined us here. The Old Bike is still serving its purpose if it got you back in cycling, some street tyres and a tune up to make sure the brakes and cables are in good condition/safe will help you out. surf the various forums on the site and find some that suit you, before you know it a new bike will be in order.
