No longer lurking

Hello all -

My name is Bob Weber and I'm a 52-year-old reporter living in Edmonton, Alberta. I ski in the winter and ride bikes in the summer, and I've finally decided to stop lurking on these forums and join in. I'm under bicycle bob. I ride to work and go for 30-60-100 km rides when I get a chance, just to spin. My racing days are behind me. I enjoy putzing around with my bikes, although I lack the skill for major repairs/rebuilds. I'm sure I'll pick some up from you folks here.

My rides:
- early 90s Ritchey Road Classic, Jim Bell paintjob, mostly Campy drivetrain with some Mavic and DA. One of my favourite things, ever.
- late 80s Miyata 712 comp, all 105, kitted out as a commuter
- a venerable 89 Rocky Mountain Hammer, no suspension
- a similar vintage tandem, fillet-brazed steel by local framebuilder Jim Moulden

I'm looking forward to sharing knowledge and experiences. Best regards to all,
