Bikes: A friend of a friend gave me an old steel Japanese frame for free. I painted and put it together with a little help from my bicycle mechanic boyfriend. There are bits and pieces of several other bikes lying around our apartment.

Akron, Ohio. Hello! はじめまして!

I reside in Akron, OH, a short bike ride from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I am studying Anthropology at the University of Akron but I am currently taking a break to WWOOF and ride bikes as much as possible. I joined this forum to facilitate my future anthropological research project focusing on transportation by bicycle and bicycle advocacy. I'm doing as much research as I can until I decide to sign up for classes again and finish my degree.

Welcome to BF, good to have you here. Enjoy the forums and our members, we have a very wide variety of cycling interests represented here. Best of luck with your research and classes when you return to University.
