Hi from Washington (state)

Retired guy from Washington pretty new to biking, Road biking to get some exercise. Currently riding a bike put together from a mixture of parts from new to 40 years old. Building a new bike as the parts (and financial support) make themselves available.

Hi, welcome to BF, from another old guy. You should join us in the 50+ Forum here, it where I usually hang out. Great group of people with a common interests in cycling. Sounds like a nice build you are doing, our Classic and Vintage Forum and the Mechanics Forum will be interested in your build and can answer questions for you, when you need. Visit these, and the Regional Forum for the Pacific Northwest, you can find others that want to set up rides and other cycling activities. Glad that you chose to join us here.

It is. Also have a 31.5 mile long 10 ft wide paved park (Centennial Trail) bike path that runs thru some of the best of areas Wish I could spend more time on it. Runs from Snohomish to the Skagit county line.
