Hello fron New Mexico
Just bought two vintage bikes. A 1974 Schwinn Varsity for the wife and a 434 Schwinn PDG for myself. Gonna do some upgrading on the 434 to bring it up to modern specs. We have lots of mountains/hills in my area plus we have the Tour of the Gila bike race every year.

Hi Dep, welcome aboard. Those should be 2 very nice vintage Schwinns. Post in the Classic and Vintage Forum with some pictures of the bikes so the C&V enthusiast can enjoy seeing them. Best wishes on your rides.

Actually, I was incorrect about the Paramount. It's a 434 by the Paramount Design Group. Still, I like it a lot.
