Hi Everyone:
I was at a yard sale on Sat. and saw a bike that reminded me of one I bought new in 1966 in Petoskey, Michigan. I am now 64, and thought I would get back into riding for exercise. I bought this bike for $7 so, if I don't end up riding much, I haven't lost anything. However, one of my sons told me that vintage bikes are a big thing right now and he thought that maybe I had picked up one. It's obvious that the previous owner barely used the bike. It is an "Eaton Slider" made by raliegh. I have the serial number and am wondering how I can find out more about the bike, ie: what year it was built, etc.

Welcome to BF! Please do post pix of your new bike in the Classic and Vintage forum. I used to have a 1980 Raleigh Pursuit and I'd love to see the one you just got.
