Hi folks, looks like I'm the new guy. Hinckley, Ohio USA

I'm an older guy (56) who just started biking again this summer. I rode a bike daily as a kid growing up (60's & 70's) than later when I got married and moved to a small town I rode a lot. Lost touch with bikes for many many years and just got the bug this summer and bought a Hybrid. Giant Cypress DX. I only have weekends to ride but I really enjoy it. Very peaceful and relaxing. I've already stated changing shifters and seats and I'm looking to change the handlebar next. Bikes are an addiction it seems.
Look forward to learning a few things here and being a small part of the bike community.
Thanks for having me!

Welcome to Bike Forums! Glad to have you back on the bike, like they always say, you never forget how to ride! If you get a chance, stop by the 50+ forum. There are a lot of cool people there who chat about the issues (good and bad) of riding into the mid years.

Thanks for the welcome everybody!
I started riding again just to try to do something active instead of sitting in front of a computer (my job). I really enjoy riding, though I'm still getting my bike legs back. I've only been riding again since June. I have well over 300 miles on the bike already. When ever I ride I ride at least 10 miles. I have ridden a few 20+ mile trips but I don't have as much time as I would like. My goal is to ride the annual "sweetcorn ride" in the local town next to mine next year. They have a 10, 25, 50 and 100 mile ride that day. I want to do the 25. I should be ready by next year. Riding season is coming to a close here in northern Ohio. Went out today it was 55 degrees with a still wind. Not horrible but I doubt I'll ride when it gets much cooler.
Suggestions on cooler weather riding clothes?
