Greetings from sunny California! (The southern half)

Hello new bike peeps!

I'm pretty new to cycling, but I am absolutely loving it so far. I'm looking into getting a Brompton M6L (I may even spring for a Sage Green one). I would love to commute, but currently I have to drive a minimum of an hour to get to work, sooo...commuting will have to wait. I'm also interested in touring, and will be seeing the sights in Oslo and Glasgow next year. My bike right now is a Trek of some kind (I've had it since I was 12 and have been having some knee issues with the big lug lately). Looking forward to many happy travels!

Welcome to BF! If you have the time to do it while you're vacationing, try to fit in renting a bike in Oslo &/or Glasgow and taking in some of either area on two wheels. It'd probably add a memorable element to your vacation. I'm going to guess they likely have marked bike tours of different lengths for tourists in both places.

Welcome to Bike Forums! We have a couple of sections here you might be interested in. One is the folding bikes section and the other is the Regional section. Go check them out! Have fun and good luck on your Brompton!

Welcome from the neighbor up the I-15 in Vegas! Enjoy that riding.
I think its disgusting and terrible how people treat Lance Armstrong, especially after winning 7 Tour de France Titles while on drugs!

I can't even find my bike when I'm on drugs. -Willie N.

Thank you for the welcome, everyone! And thanks for the suggestions on relevant sections; I'll be sure to check those out. I'll be taking my Brompton (ordering tonight!!) with me to Norway and as my primary form of transport once I hop over to Glasgow. Looking forward to riding (safely) whilst across the sea.
