I ride a 26" Women's Cypress Giant.

Hi I joined the forum today to get advice on getting a bike for my 14 y.o. son. He has a Fuji Mountain bike but needs a road bike to use in a bike club at his school.

I've been riding forever. I don't ride as much as I'd like. I live in the NE part of Los Angeles which is a suprisingly bike friendly area. I used to bike and live in ELA and that wasn't as much fun back when I was a young chica. Too many cat calls and whistles back then.
Los Angeles has added a lot of bike lanes in the past few years.

Great site. I'll be returning. Lots of helpful folk. Thanks for being here.

Welcome to Bike Forums! You might want to check out the regional section here. You can join in on these rides and you shouldn't have to worry about cat calls.

Hey Clara, welcome to the forum! Glad to hear the improvements in your area for biking. Same thing is going on in Vegas. Good routes make riding enjoyable. Good luck!
