Jumped back on my Time CAT road bike the other day...
So after about 14 years, I dusted off my ol' Time carbon CAT road bike (remember that one), put on some new tires, shot some lube in the critical spots, and went for a ride in our small town here in Connecticut.
Boy did my rear end hurt after my marathon of 5 miles. The acid built up in the legs much quicker when climbing out of the saddle over small, rolling hills...
I figured technology and things have changed a lot over about 14 years so I found this forum and decided to join and start learning about being back on two wheels again. After racing category A at the collegiate level for a little while, I feel like a total beginner again.
Thanks to all for making this forum what it is today.

It takes time to get used to being back in the saddle again but as time goes on, you will increase your endurance. Yes, bikes have changed but the concept is the same, and you are doing good for your health. Welcome to Bike Forums!
