Big Hello From NC!

I live right in the middle of North Carolina, I haven't really ridden a bicycle in since I turned 16, about 25 years ago but I plan to buy one this weekend. I've been looking around different shops for the past few weeks and I think I'm ready, I plan on moving to the coast early next year and I was going to wait but I just can't wait any longer.

Anyway I'm getting a hybrid, its mostly for fun, ridding around town and ridding to work hopefully, I see myself taking some longer rides on weekends but I also have a secret fishing hole that's down a wooded trail I could ride.

Welcome to BF and back to cycling! Personal thing, but... I think you're doing well to start out with a hybrid. It'll be reasonably comfortable and both road and light off-road (smooth, hard-packed dirt trails) capable. Enjoy it!

Howdy from a fellow hybrid rider in OK

Been out your way a few times in my life- if you live along the I 40 corridor, that is.
