Hello there! I'm a newbie in Boston.

Hi everyone!
I just moved to Boston for law school and saw how bicycle friendly the city is. I decided I really would love to commute to school by bike. It will help my budget and keep me active, and give me an excuse to pull my head out of my books twice a day. Unfortunately the budget thing got in the way and I couldn't buy a bike, but I just got lucky (I think) and got a bike from someone through Freecycle.com. The bike I got is (from what I've researched and inspected) a 1968 Raleigh Robin Hood women's bike. It looks a bit rusty (including the chain) and the tires look worn (one doesn't hold air), but I think with some TLC and some advice from the experts, I will hopefully make it my weekend project and get it back in working order soon. I think I'll enjoy riding around the city even more when I know that I put the work into the machine that's taking me all around. That being said, I don't really know anything about bikes except what I've learned from scouring the internet, so I'll probably be asking a lot of questions. I hope you all don't mind!

Feel free to reach out to me and say hello or give me your opinions. I'm usually really busy and stressed out, especially during the week, but I'd like to make a point of taking a break from the stress every weekend at some point, so I might just be responding then.

Cheers!

Kimberly
