Could use some help
Hi I am Thomas Payne. I am currently in school and planning to take next semester off. I will be moving back to Statesville living with my dad and trying to find a cheaper school. I just bought a Dr Pepper Mtn Bike and im trying to get into riding more. I want to purchase a bike that will be a good commuter and also something that will be good for touring. I want to try to get the bike I want in the next year or so and till then I will use this mtn bike to commute and get better at biking. I was wanting some opinions on what bike I should get. I am 200 lbs im 6'1". I have been looking at the Surly Long Haul Trucker. I think I want disc brakes but I don't know if that's the best. I think so but I want your opinion. Fill free to email me and give me your experience. Also what tools should I get for my house to work on the bike also what tools to carry while commuting and touring. I want to buy the best so I don't have to buy it more than once or twice
