New member, New bike opinions!

Hello, I am a new member on these forums and very new to cycling as well.

The first bike that I have bought was a fixed gear (save the flame) to develop some leg strength and endurance before I eventually
buy a road bike in a couple of years. I just wanted to know your opinions on the bike which I have bought, and whether it is a decent
bike. I did no prior research to the specific bike model before purchasing it.

Please give honest opinions .

Also, I've been riding platforms for the past month (no straps either), would it be worth it upgrading to clipless now?
or starting on straps first?

Welcome to BF! Don't sweat other people's reviews of your bike -- if you're comfortable riding it and you like the way it handles, you're on the right bike. Ride it until your tastes, needs and demands outgrow it. On the pedals… Racers and many others swear by clipless and their view will be that moving into clipless right now is the only sensible thing to do. Others prefer platforms. I have orthopedic foot problems that require high-end, very supportive (and very expensive!) shoes as well as big platforms in an attempt to provide maximal plane-to-plane foot-to-pedal contact, so I'm a platform user by necessity. If you're not training for the Tour de France or the RAAM, clipless pedals probably aren't a big priority in your cycling life. Ride your bike and enjoy it. When your riding needs push you up into a higher level of technology, go for it then, but… Don't go gear-crazy. You may end up with a $10K bike and a $7K killer fashionista cycling wardrobe before you decide you really don't enjoy cycling all that much and move on to other activities. Disclaimer: This is just my set of opinions. Do whatever you feel best about doing, have a good time and enjoy yourself.
