New Guy from NE Ohio
Howdy!
I'm in NE Ohio and do lots of biking basically whenever it's above 60 degrees out and rideable. I've got a route I love to do that takes me thru some of the local parks, down some country roads, and to a local lake. Usually about 20 miles a day.
My bike is a GT Cross Series Vantara. It's literally my second bike ever after a traditional kids single speed bike (I'm 24). My dad picked this up at a garage sale for $15 for me, and it was probably one of the best $15 he ever spent.
I wish I knew how many miles I've put on it! I used it for my paper route in rain and shine and even the winter with snow on the roads in my early teens. Used it in my late teens for commuting to a local factory I worked at in highschool and college. That was when I got into regular rides and started doing atleast 100 miles a week in the summer.
The only thing I've done to it is put a straight handlebar and Ergon grips on it along with the essentials (and a new rim from crashing it )
