Time To Give Back

Hi everyone.

Finally joining after years of benefiting from outdated threads through Google searches. So I wanted to give back a bit.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and love the region. I enjoy fastish shorter day rides and longer ones too. Most people I know who bike are a little less enthusiastic about my pace, and the fast ones I do know are too fast for me. I'm primarily interested in bikes that align with the principles of the French constructeurs a la Bicycle Quarterly. Steel, low trail, 650b, etc. are all buzz words I enjoy. That being said, I can enjoy discussing all forms of cycling and am fairly open minded. I have a fair amount of experience working on bicycles and have a lot to contribute. I also have a lot to learn and am excited to do so. I'm 6'6" so large bikes are another thing that interest me. I work in a kitchen for a living, though it doesn't bring in much. Apart from Herse, Zunow is my favorite brand for far less pragmatic reasons. I play music in my off time.

I really like Bruce Springsteen.

That's all I got really. Thank you.

Nice to see you here!

You happen to be one of many people, including myself, who've found this place with a google search and finally decided to sign up for the kick of it. Right on!
