New rider from Indy.

Hey all,
New rider from Indianapolis, still looking for the best match bike for me. I have been seriously looking for a couple of months. I haven't pulled the trigger yet just to make sure I'm not getting an impulse that will pass. Anyway, since sept I keep finding myself in bike shops, trying different rides and soaking up input. Now I'm here, I suppose it's time.

There are a number of forums here where you might find information to help you decide. For example, if you are interested in a hybrid bike there is a forum just for those kinds of bike. There is a forum for just about any style of bike and style of riding.

Thanks everyone! I decided I needed to check out the forums after visiting 5 or 6 shops multiple times in some and leaving with a different opinion of what bike I needed.

Nothing beats trying all sorts of bikes to see what feels best to you at that point in your life.
