Hi from Boulder, Colorado

I am a recently retired cpa, a photographer, a long-time road biker and a new Bike Forums user. I have a 1986 Cannondale Black Lightning and a early 90's Trek 2300 Composite. I found the forum while looking for a place to buy wheel parts as the Trek rear wheel is cracking. I hope to do more biking once the snow and ice is off the street and hope to gather biking information from the members on this forum.

Welcome to BF! If you don’t already have one, you’ll find a “rugged build” P+S incredibly handy while cycling. The ordinary P+S’s don’t take well to the low temps, wet weather and incessant jarring that they encounter during extensive cycling. They tend to die young.

I have family in Erie, heading out there in April to see my grand kids. Ride every chance I get. Last summer took the Summit Recpath to Vail Pass. Loved it! I honestly envy you, except in winter.
