Didn't introduce myself last night so I am doing so now! Hello everyone!
I am a fairly avid cyclist and I do spend some of my time working in a bike shop and some of it in the attached outdoor store. I am big into touring with friends (not yet ready for a full solo tour of great length) and just outdoor adventuring in general. I currently own a Surly Disc Trucker and a specialized Langster running fixed. I am a pretty passionate gear junkie.
I am looking to get a custom built Circle A cycles frame built as a SS/Fixed cross bike on Phil Wood hubs and most likely H+sons rims, with a Phil Gruppo if the money is available if not probably Sugino 75 for those wanting more details I am happy to provide. It is my dream to own that bike and seeing it built up in my head it is awesome and Circle A Cycles does great work both building bikes and repainting.
I am quite interested in music of all sorts. Currently I am listening to Tabula Rasa (Béla Fleck, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt & Jie-Bing Chen, album not the band or bands that exist), Slayer, Algernon Cadwaller, Bon Iver, Earth and Flogging Molly. However I listen to just about everything, though most pop and commercial rap is not my thing, however I will try just about anything. I also have a love for noise and experimental stuff that you couldn't quite classify as music.
I am generally a passionate person as stated in my bio but I try to stay pretty chill and if I sound like I am angry I am generally not or I am not worked up about it. Sometimes I am just direct in my wording and it comes across as angry.
Enough of my droning about myself. It is good to be here and I hope I can bring some stuff to the table and have a good time and meet some cool ass people : )
