    Greetings from DC!

FNG here from DC... just got out of the (ch)Air Force, and have decided to pick up cycling. Haven't bought a bike yet, but I can feel the hole burning in my pocket. Looking in to a few different road bikes at the local shops, and looking to hit the road as soon as the damn weather figures out what season it is supposed to be.

Anywho, I'm looking forward to a good time here and will hopefully join up with a few local groups. I've heard Potomac Pedalers is a great organization. Cheers!

I've had several since 1999 but have settled on my beloved 2001 Litespeed Tuscany and my latest, a 2013 Cannondale CAAD 10.

Welcome to Bike Forums. What bikes are you thinking about getting? Post a pic once you get the bike.

Welcome to BF! With the DC historic sights, the East Coast Geenway Trail and the C&O Canalway Trail at hand and the Skyline Drive/Blue Ridge Parkway not too far away, you’ve got scenic riding options at hand that a lot of riders never get to see.
