Hi. Bent rider from Toronto
Hi all,
Just joined the community. I found out about BikeForums quite by accident but, just perusing through the postings, it looks like I'll come to enjoy visiting here often.
I am a recumbent trike owner and rider. I own one of the very few Russian-built A.S. Engineering S32 Zenit L trikes on the planet. The Zenit is a cousin of the Berkut velomobile which some of you may be familiar. My trike is a tadpole configuration and a technical marvel of aluminium, titanium, carbon fibre and stainless steel. It's fitted out with Shimano Ultegra components and a Schlumpf Mountain Drive giving me 32 gears over four ranges. It has integrated hydraulic drum brakes operated by Magura handles. I've fitted Vredestein 47-406 road tires for a comfortable ride and it helps having an articulated rear arm with elastomer spring. I love riding this trike. It's comfortable, fast, practical and safe.
I'll be over at the recumbent forum mostly (obvious) and following the bike mechanics forum also. Thanks for reading and looking forward to contributing to the discussions in the future.
