    This is a test...

Hi! New member here, but haven't been able to post yet, so this is a test.
Still clinging to my guns, religion and Brooks saddles.

Bumping this up, as the test was successful, but not informative.
I'm here by invitation from a member who has an ebay handle of 'auchencrow'. (If you're in the audience, please stand up!) I bought some good ol' Christophe toeclips from him on ebay for my 'beater' '73 Paramount.

I traded my 2nd motorcycle for a ten-speed bicycle in '72, a nearly new Western Auto. Woo hoo! Started commuting by bicycle. A couple years later, I found out about REAL bicycles and bought a Raleigh Grand Prix, then quickly traded up to a Raleigh Competition. Started working in a bicycle shop in 1976.

I dropped out of the rat-race a few years ago, and started my own Work From Home, don't Get Rich Quick Scheme by offering bicycle repair out of my garage. 5 years later, it's still going strong, I'm busy every day, all day long. I just do repairs, no selling, don't even stock anything.

Having worked in Schwinn dealerships for a number of years, I have an affinity for the brand, and especially their crown jewel, the Paramount.

I'm located in sunny Albuquerque, NM where the riding is great!

So thanks for the invite, auchencrow, and thanks to those who've extended a welcome!

Still clinging to my guns, religion and Brooks saddles.
