Hi, i hope someone can help me here. I've just started riding, i'm 21 and its thrilling and all that. The bike i bought on a friend's recommendation is a converted single speed bike. It still has all the gears on the rear but only one on the front. The bike was smooth for a while but now the bike chain keeps coming loose. How do I fix this? I'm already leaking money on this bike.

Hello and welcome to Bike Forums.

You should ask that question in our Bike Mechanics forum, but it would be good to post pics of the problem you're experiencing. Your description isn't clear, for instance you say it's single speed, but still has all the rear gears in place. Does it have the rear shifter mechanism (derailleur) too?
