https://m.flickr.com/#/photos/756441.../13905463508/I recently went to get a newer (against my instinct) town bike for the missus (Claude Butler

Boulevard) and also came away with an old, black gents sit-up-and-beg! I can't quite work out the markings on the frame! Norman on the head tube, Ensign model on the down tube and strangely Royal Enfield on the seat tube. The gold lettering appears to be the same script on each of the tubes. Rod brakes and the usual 1930's equipment. The bike fits me like a glove and rides nicely apart from the bent pedal but they both are 60's and need replacing. It's raining but will post photos in due course. Does anyone know if there was ever a link with R.E. and Norman Cycles? Rob in rainy South Devon.

Welcome as well. Once you have some pics, you might want to post your question in the C&V forum.
