Introduction and request for advice

Hi everyone!

I'm Nick from Pittsburgh, PA. I've been looking to get serious about bikes and most of my internet inquiries have led me to this site, so I decided to join Bike Forums.

As someone with little knowledge or experience in the world of bikes, I'm looking for some advice... Recently had a bike stolen and looking to replace it. I want a decent all around bike that I can use to commute to work as well ride on trails and such. I know this link lacks detailed information, but based strictly on general knowledge, would you guys consider $200 for the bike in this ad to be a good deal?:

Redline D440 29er

Thanks in advance for any help!

Nick.

Cheers Nick, someone local will be in a better position than me to comment on price, but welcome anyways!

Looks like the bike sold... For future reference, where is the best place to post for advice on buying bikes?

This is the Introductions forum. Not everyone reads it.
Post questions about bikes in the specific forum (road bike in the Road Cycling forum, mtn bikes in the Mtn Biking forum, general questions in the General Cycling forum, etc.
Good luck finding a bike.
