I wanted to say hello to all of you!
I chose my User ID as an instant recognition tool on joining this forum. I am an OLDER guy living in Aurora which is about 50 kilometres (about 30 miles for the metrically challenged) north of Toronto in Canada. I am quite far out of shape now, but I was in the best shape of my life at 40 when I competed in the first Masters' Games which were held in the Toronto area back in 1985. (I'm almost 69 now for the mathematically challenged).
Back then, I trained for about a year doing a minimum of 50 miles a day 7 days a week. I was in better shape at 40 than I was in when I was wrestling in high school 5 nights a week. I even got down to 155 pounds which is what I weighed starting high school grade 9. Unfortunately, the years roll on. I'm healthy but way out of shape.
