Good Seats for Aggressive Riding?

I ride a Leader Kagero 2011 using a Specialized Toupe RBX and it is killing me right now. My friend told me that seat is for upright relaxed riding and he said the Romin would be a better one for me. Is the Romin better for aggressive riding? What seat do you use for aggressive riding or what is the most comfortable seat you have ever used?

Saddles are the part of a bike most subject to personal fit and preference. I personally need a saddle with a perineum cut out or channel so I've been experimenting with ISM Adamos and the like.

Currently digging the SDG Duster but it's still not quite right. Gonna try out some Selle SMPs next.

What do you mean by "aggressive riding"? You ride around swearing at people?

Saddle comfort is highly subjective. I switched to Brooks years ago and haven't looked back, their saddles work very well for me. But I'm a commuter / utility cyclist, so weight etc. are not important aspects for me.

Aggressive riding, like I ride an aggressive style frame and I don't normally cruise well that's from my friend point of view. I don't want Brooks because of how it looks bolky and heavy, it is only comfortable because the leather takes the shape of your butt. But I was going on a ride and after 20 or so miles my butt started to hurt. When I was at 40 trying to head home I was about done and just wanted to stop biking because my lower back hurt and my butt was just done too even when I wear the special underwear.

Hah, one of the local non-profits around here advertise on the radio saying that they want us to "aggressively say thanks to military families". Every time I hear that ad I can't help but seeing someone grab some poor military wife and shake them violently while yelling "THANK YOU!!!".

I bought this one Vader Saddle The only downside for me is it's pretty heavy and ships from China, but $16.

You might get more answers in the Road Cycling forum than here and including your definition of “aggressive riding” might help, too. I always thought of aggressive riding as being standing on the pedals, in which case the saddle is immaterial...

This is normal if you don't normally do higher mileage. Even with the best saddle for your particular butt it'll get sore if you're not used to spending a lot of time on it.

As far as your back getting sore that is more likely a fit or strength issue. The saddle you have shouldn't affect this but the position of it might.
