Hello All From Iowa
Hey everyone,
I am new here and also semi new to the bike world. I did some BMX back in the day but other than that it has been a while since I have been on a bike. Looking to get back in and get some exercise in. I bought a Giant Escape 3 yesterday but still debating if I should change it out for the Escape 1. So that is a battle with myself trying to justify the 300 difference. Excited to get riding but have to wait till my bike is finished being built which will be Tuesday due to the holiday.

Welcome to Bike Forums. Get the one you're budget is comfortable with.
Somewhere down the road you'll be asking yourself if you should get the $3000 road bike or the $4000 model.
Let us know which one you get -- and above all -- have fun.

Thanks guys... So I ended up getting the Escape 1. Still wasn't able to pick it up today because they are going to do an overall check on the bike and by the time I made it to the shop it was 30 min before closing... So Tuesday it is. I picked up a helmet and a CatEye Padrone. Any other suggestions for accessories. I will update with pictures once I get the baby home. :-)
