Help Identifying Bike

I got this bicycle from my grandmothers garage and wanted some information on it. Year built? Model? Where I can purchase parts? Not looking to sale just fix up enough to ride along with the kiddos. Breaks, tires and gears (3) need some attention. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

By the badge on the headtube, its a Sears branded bike. By the look I'd say mid seventies. The brakes being sidepull (on a lower end model) for me are a hint at a later age.

I'm assuming 27 inch tires and tubes, all readily available. The brakes are similar in design to modern, so brake pads or replacement brakes are no issue.

I'd bet its a Sturmey Archer hub and shifter, 3 speed. You can get replacements. But a local bike shop can take a look.

Many of local bike shops will do a tune up for not much money. That would be a place to start.

Welcome to BF! Try the Classic and Vintage forum with your question. You’ll likely have better luck there than here in the Intro section.

Thanks for the help. I am really clueless but I have a very mechanically inclined husband that can help! I have posted in the other forum as well! Thanks again James RL!
