hello all, noobie over here...
Hey what's up everyone, I just got into the quality bike "scene" and stopped buying those bulky heavy 500 pounds weight 200-300$ useless bikes from walmart/canadiantire. ( the last bike I got, looked like a space ship,I thought it would fly to the moon but...it could barely make it on grounds.)
Been doing that for years and i never knew other brands were better. Sad, invested so much in these pieces of junks! They last you 1 summer and you have to buy a new one the next.
Anyways, bought me a Trek 7.2 hybrid and it's pretty good...BUT! Had a flat and need help fixing it, but that's in another thread. ( where should I post this? )
Nice to meet you all and thanks for making this cool forum happen!!!
have a nice day all!

Cheers and welcome to BF.
If you have particular difficulties with replacing / fixing the tyre, ask away in our Bicycle Mechanics subforum. For general info on how to fix a flat, see Park Tool Co. » Park Tool Co. for example.

Hi, I just need to know how to open ( detach) the tire/rim from the body. Since i've never seen such thing before, i guess i need a special tool and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks again!

You probably have quick release levers on the wheels. Simply pull the lever out and turn it CCW a few turns and the wheel will drop out. Here's a link with more details. How To Use Bicycle Quick Releases
