Greetings from SW Missouri!
I am 55 years old. I haven't ridden in almost 40 years and then never rode much. My workplace recently became involved in National Bike Challenge. I felt compelled to give it a go, so I found a bike at a garage sale and started riding. I track my rides using MapMyRide and set a goal to ride every day. I started at a mile per day a month ago and am up to ten miles per day. My bike is a Schwinn 21 speed cruiser and is so slow that I have to pedal to go downhill!
Needless to say, I am addicted! I look forward to getting off work so I can ride!
Next step: get a better bike!
Cheers!
Steve

Welcome to Bike Forums. Stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the other old timers. I'm one of them. I too started riding again at 55. I'm now 69 and there are several others older than me. Have fun.
