San Diego Commuter...newbie
Just looking around...hello all. I commute 26 miles roundtrip everyday to work on my so called "crappy" bike as people call it on here....2011 Schwinn Prelude.
Since late March I've commuted close to 1200 miles on my "crappy" bike...can't complain.
I stripped it down to bare metal and repainted it matte black...put some stickers on it, New cassette, New clipless pedals, New carbon fiber seat, New handlebars and some Easton Vista rims with gatorskin tires....all for under $450.
I guess I just wanted to give myself a project and I'm very satisfied with the results....
