Returning cyclist
I am a "returning" cyclist. Back in my high school, college days I was a fairly serious cyclist..riding 4-5 days a week, logging 80-120 miles a week...doing century rides and taking the occasional multiple day tour.
That was before kids...before REAL life knocked me off my bike . Here I am 30 years later.
I am now looking to start riding again. My goal is to do a "casual" century ride here in MY second half century!!!
Just got an entry level bike ..Giant Avail, as a birthday gift...so here I go!!

Welcome. I recently returned after 17 years. Riding with my teenage son got me motivated.

Welcome to bf and welcome back to cycling. I came back about 3 years ago after more than 30 years. Someone gave my wife a bike and I bought one so I could ride around the neighborhood with her. Didn't take me long to get hooked again. It just feels so good to ride. And a side benefit is I now weigh about what I did when I rode all the time in my teens and I no longer have to worry about that middle aged belly.
