Stolen Specialized Tarmac, Seattle WA

Hi my name is Tobin and today I lost a member of my family. At one of the busiest intersections in north Seattle WA someone cut the chain off my 2013 specialized Tarmac and rode off into the sunset. It happened on the corner of 5th and Northgate around 6-7 pm today and if you have any tips on how I should go about recovering it I would be forever grateful. I have called the police and talked to local businesses that looked like they had cameras in that direction but beyond that I'm at a loss.

Thank you

Welcome to the forums and am deeply sorry to hear about your bike getting stolen. Best thing to do is to keep an eye on craigslist, ebay, pawn shops

Any scars or tattoos?

I'm currently considering getting a new 2012 Tarmac Saxo Bank edition (rode it last night and loved it), and have been looking on CL and eBay for deals on a used, so I'll keep my eye open, but bikes very rarely "look" stolen.

Did your loved one have any identifiable scars, tattoos, or other body modifications which sets it apart?

Sorry to hear. What kind of lock? Heavy chain or cable?
