Howdy to you all
Hi all,
I retired in November 2004 after 36 years working in healthcare: laboratories, education, administration. Bought a Sun AX recumbent in December and have put nearly 600 miles on it since then. Work was eating me alive and I never seemed to have time to ride. I'm a pretty happy camper now.
Was going for a ride this morning but there are 20 to 30 mile per hour gusts going on: Santa Ana winds. Will try again tomorrow.

Sunny Southern California (supposed to be 80 today)

Welcome. I am touching 60 and at times I also think of retiring from my healthcare job and spend more time on cycling. I thought every time the sun came up it came up on a perfect cycling day in "sunny southern California." It looks like I will have to skip the day here as well since the rain is coming down in buckets. I don't mind the rain but I don't like getting hit by those buckets.
