    Marcy upright exercise bike

I have one of these as well as road bikes. Up until today the bike has been fine. The problem is it is 'slipping'. I have stripped it down and checked everything, re-greased etc... The pedal end is no different to a standard road bike with bearings. That is turning ok and transferring to the front fly wheel, but there is still some slipping. The only thing I can think that might be the problem is to do with the resistance setting/mechanism? Any advice/solutions please.

I've had several since 1999 but have settled on my beloved 2001 Litespeed Tuscany and my latest, a 2015 Cannondale SuperSix EVO carbon

Welcome Gavin. Can't help with your problem. This is the Introductions forum. Perhaps the folks in the General Cycling forum can help.

Hi and welcome. I'm new also and I have a Marcy. I love the Marcy and have not had any problems with it so I can't offer you any help at this point.
