I'm on contract assignment now for 3 months in beautiful and charming Southern Virginia. Just pulled my Raleigh Technium 400 out of my attic in Pennsylvania last weekend after 14 years of nonuse. I'm a recreational rider to relief stress, develop some level of physical fitness, see America’s country side and make friends. There is not much to do here deep in Southern VA so I got the itch and fever to take advantage of the multiple bike trails and low traveled back roads in the region. Here on the beaten path I come across old country stores mounted with Esso and Sinclair Gas signs, vintage gas pumps with a rusted out 1950 Chevy. I cannot help but stop at these sights and get in deep thought of how it once was.
My Raleigh Technium 400 was taken care of over the years in storage, actually I had thoughts of selling it few years back. My frame, brakes, cables and gearing are in excellent condition, just one broken spoke, some wheel and professional tuning in Raleigh NC an hour and a half away will get it in perfect running condition.
Look forward to feedback from bikers across America and everywhere.
