Hello from a Newbie Old-timer in Utah
Hey! I just noticed the founder is in Utah. Hi, Joe!
Just found myself in the situation of "having to" buy a new bike (which has become "wanting to" :-))
How long have I been biking? Well, I grew up with a Schwinn balloon-tire single-speed bike and have ridden off and on since. As a senior citizen, I've seen a lot of changes, making me pretty much a newbie all over again!
I bought my last bike about 20 years ago: a Haro mountain bike which just died on me. Since nowadays I do mostly fitness riding and errand running around town, but would like to be able to ride up the canyon on easy trails from time to time, I've been looking for a dual sport hybrid, and am about to post a desperate plea for help in the hybrid forum in just a few minutes.
