Hello everyone
My name is Jay and I am interested in learning more about bikes. I am broke so cannot afford a good bike lol. I bough an older bike just to have something to ride. Hopefully I will have some great experience here.
Have a wonderful day.

Hi Jay! The joy of cycling is not necessarily in the level of equipment (although that helps! lol), but in the fitness, the fresh air, the way it makes you feel. Ride what you have and save up for something better! Welcome to the community!

Wecome Psycho-Jay, anyone going by that handle gets a special invite to the Foo section & Halloween music thread....just give each page about 30 secs to load all the videos. You'll soon be searching Craigslist for a nice bike cheap, or to fnd your next victim

You're on a great path, Jay! I, too, am a 'newbie', but adore the sport! Starting out on anything that can get you out and riding is great- you'll move up to better equipment when the time is right- been there, done that. Furthermore, I always look at used bikes and components- no sense paying retail when someone already has- and it's amazing how much equipment is available from people who tried it but didn't click with it- and have barely used bikes at great deals. Get out and ride!

Hi Jay and welcome! Come on over to classic and vintage where we all have old bikes.. you might be surprised what you can do to/with an older bicycle.
