Hi from Loveland Colorado.
I am nearly 58 years old and bought a Peugeot 10 speed road bike in 1971 and have been riding ever since. I was a member of the West Jersey Wheelmen in the early 1990s and the Colorado Springs Cycling Club in the late 1990s and have participated on Gentleman's rides since 1996 (small group, 4 day, twice a year rides for locals in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming). I have lived in Loveland Colorado since 2009 and have logged over 33000 miles in northern Colorado. I have ridden every paved pass in Colorado except Wolf Creek and La Vita. Epic one day rides out of Loveland can reach Rocky Mountain National Park, Peak to Peak Highway, eight canyons, two of Colorado's five HC climbs, five additional Cat 1 climbs and some of Colorado's most beautiful and challenging roads. My son and I are starting a bike touring and road bike rental company out of Loveland that will be operational in Spring of 2015. We have purchased sport road bikes with carbon forks and compact double 34/50 with shimano 105 shifters and eleven gear 11-32 rear cassettes that are appropriate for these mountains. I have done all my own bike maintenance since the beginning and we have completed the build of our rental fleet. I weigh over 200 pounds and have ridden two steel frames and an aluminum frame to fatigue failure.

Welcome to the forums, LovelandCoRider! I lived in Lakewood and Idaho Springs for several years, and a lot of the rides you describe bring back excellent memories (I've been in Texas for 19 years). I think you'll feel very much at home in the forums here. You may want to contact a Forum Administrator about advertising your rental company . . .
