Hello from Georgia
Hello,
I guess I ought to introduce myself, since I'll be making the switch from commuting via automobile to riding a bicycle. This is due to a bad decision while driving and my political beliefs. My name is Jason and I'm eighteen years old, attending Lanier Tech in Oakwood, Georgia. That's all I really have to say. I don't yet have a bike, but that will be changing soon enough.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Georgian. I know several people that do all of their commuting by bike. Since I need a car all day at work, I don't have that option but I wish I did. A friend of mine even does his weekly grocery shopping by bike.

Don't know if you live in or near Gainesville or closer to Atlanta, but since you're looking for a bike there are a few good shops in Gainesville and a few in Duluth. If you want any information about them send me a PM.

Actually, I live across the street from Adventure Cycles. It turns out I'll be using my brothers Trek. I'm not sure what specific model though. And yes, I'll even be doing my grocery shopping with my bike.

I see you already have a bike, but just in case, there'e a good shop in Braselton. Thats not too far from you. I'll try to watch out for you as I'm driving to work. (Sorry, but its 40 miles)
