hello from wisconsin
hello all, ive been lurking for a couple weeks to see if I like the forum and I do. i am recreational rider in SE wisconsin. I use my bike as my car on weekends and for camping/bushcraft outings.I used too ride a road bike but switched to a hard tail 29er last summer due too road conditions, friggin horrible! as a aircraft mechanic and aircraft welder I do my own repairs and modifications and enjoy rebuilding and restoring or creating frankenstien bicycles. anyway thanks for letting me join... ill be watching.

Welcome from the north end of Milwaukee county! Ya know, you could always pick up another road bike - great road riding around these parts during the warmer months

I take before and after pictures and give them to whoever winds up with the bike, I use J and J powdercoat in zion IL for most of the paint jobs, great guys and fast turnaround, working on a specialized rock hopper restore , post pics soon, and thanks.
