And only Canadians can laugh at themselves........

I do like our friends in the frozen north, for their sense of humor. That and Fudgeeo Cookies.

Humor is always good. It makes things light, positive and happy if done in good taste. I also appreciate a good laugh.

Maybe, but I hear us Canadians are the source of all evil.

Having dated a Canadian & been to Canada, i can confirm all of this. The border with canada is something like this: US side, grey dreary, sad. Canadian side, bright, rainbows, moose, sugar maple forests, and tim hortons. ;)

The snow part seems really familiar, it's kinda the same thing here in Estonia.

wrldtraveller 07-08-15 05:54 PM

oh yeah, us canadians tend to apologize if we bump into someone, even if it wasn't our fault.

I was cleaning the car the other day and realized I was carrying duct tape, a shovel, and an axe...

wrldtraveller 07-09-15 10:56 AM

and Smarties. I recall one time I was on a road trip and stopped in a mcdonalds in North Dakota, and ordered a mcflurry, and the lady asked me what kind of topping, and I said Smarties. She looked at me strangely because she have never heard of smarties. I had to change to M and M.

I've had someone say that I am very british because I was brought up to be polite. So i guess thats a canadian thing to be polite..

Wrldtraveller.

Wrldtraveller

I explained this to my wife and then demonstrated it while we were out by gently bumping into people... she thought it was hilarious.

That was so polite they deleted all the pictures after the second to get to the point and save our time, you realize. I thought that was nice of them.

I'm an American and I do this, too. But then my parents were immigrants from Europe. Please don't tell Trump.

Been to Canada a few times and must say; it's a great place.

I happen to be a Canadian and living in Ottawa. I find this thread quite amusing.
