Pretty modest stuff.

I can do a track stand on one of my bikes but not the others. I learned by practising on a wheelchair ramp, where there was a gentle uphill slope, and I could lightly hold the rails on either side while I practised.

Man, those wheelchair people are sooo entitled, though - it was hard to get in a solid hour of practise.

I can ride no hands on full size bikes but not the Bike Friday, as the 20" wheel is too twitchy.

(Just kidding about the wheelchair people).

I did a different type of trackstand. When I used a wheelchair as a desk chair, I sometimes kept it tilted back while watching television. I broke a few wheelchairs doing stuff like that.

I used to do wheelies on my 10 speed. It lost its allure when the front wheel of the bike dropped out at the peak of the wheelie. That was a hard drop

I can trackstand pretty well on any of my bikes (although on the geared ones I can't do it downhill much, obviously). I can trackstand no-hands on my fixies, as long as the ground isn't too far off level and I have my left foot in front. I stop at all red lights, but almost never put a foot down. I can ride a unicycle, but am not very good at free mounting it.
For feats, I've done dozens of long distance events on a fixed gear, including three 1200k's and three 1000k's and the Furnace Creek 508 twice.

The funny thing is, I never broke a bone util I was 40, and I've broken 8 or 9 in the 20 years since then. (Only a couple on the bike.) I guess I was a late bloomer when it comes to being a wild and careless young man.

May you also be a late wilter, then, as well. All I've ever had were cracked ribs. They taught me to block better.

I could do wheelies, spin the handlebars and wheel 180 and 360 degrees, jump big ramps after being towed by a motorcycle, and riding while sitting on the handlebars facing backwards. No broken bones; only scrapes and a brief stay in a hospital for a concussion, even though I was wearing a helmet at the time.

My most amazing stunt involved a set of tram tracks at night, perfectly good riding clothes torn to pieces, one totalled front rim and an ad hoc visit to the dentist.

I'm looking forward to not repeat that, ever.

Thanks Roody... I'll sleep better tonight know this.

Father Ermelindo Vigano proposed that Madonna del Ghisallo (the apparition) be declared the patroness of cyclists. This was confirmed by Pope Pius XII. Nowadays the shrine of Madonna del Ghisallo contains a small cycling museum with photos and artifacts from the sport. There also burns an eternal flame for cyclists who have died. One particularly notable artifact is the crumpled bicycle that Fabio Casartelli, a native of the region, rode on the day that he died in a crash in the Tour de France.
For myself the only miracle I can claim is that, even riding late at night, I have not fallen asleep at the wheel.
