after a race, a couple people decided to have a trackstand chugging contest. one handed trackstand while chugging a beer. one of the people rolled a little forward into a picnic table and was able to lean on it while finishing his beer. it's one of those contests where everyone wins.

While I tend to agree that driving a car drunk is far worse than riding a bike drunk, both have the element of "other people" involved. Off the top of my head, here are 2 cases...

1. Your drunk biking ass falls over into traffic and you are run over and killed. It's your fault, and the driver is not charged. But he has to live with this for the rest of his life.

2. Your drunk biking ass falls over into traffic. The driver swerves to avoid you, and hits an oncomming car. All involved in the car accident are killed, and you have orphaned 3 children. Bravo.

Think about other people... jeezus.

Niether is smart, but if I had to chose, I'm riding my bike. But I'm likely doing it on the sidewalk, or maybe even walking the bike home.
