Not to nit pick.........

This point ain't exactly true, mate. ALL manufacturing of bikes takes oil in the process. Yes, I know
you ment that bikes don't consume fuels but without petrolum no bikes would exist unless made of
wood.

20. If there is a mechanical problem, you can just carry it to the store/home to get fixed. Try that with a car.
21. You can find out that a little rain will not make you melt.

Rode home in the rain without a jacket or anything.. my feet got wet (clipless sandals - which have left tanlines) but they were hot from being in boots all day anyway.

yes, but those giant oil companies would be awfully poor if all they had between them was the measly profits from fossil fuels used in making bicycles and their lubricants.

True, but the oil used would then last much longer it most of it was allocated only to manufacturing
uses.

"it there is no need.....create one" Big Oils & Big Gov't's mantra.

Funny... the gas stations LOVE cyclists.... they don't make money on gas... they make money on gatorade and power bars.

That's what I hear, some places make most of there money from purchases other than gas. Heck, some places even make money on air itself.
