entertainment, education, labor, politics, law, religion, sex, war, and economics ("all of which can be improved with bikes!").
They have the 'Speed Channel' for cars. Where's my 'Bike Channel'!? Seriously, It would be 90% of my viewing.
Bikes are put to work to help make jobs easier world wide, unfortunatly the US is very lacking in this area and if you mention bikes and working together people seem to think of bike cops.
It's been working great for the Mormon misionaries for a long time, they have improved the size of their religion by using bicyles for quite a while.
as someone said, it could make you healthier and look better. But if you tried to throw a bike in the mix it would be awkward, get in the way, and probably end up in a seriously embarassing injury.
Bikes have been used in wars of past and have been put back by horses and motorcycles. The biggest issue I see is the ability of the bikes they used at the time. I think small factions of infantry, Rangers, and SpecOps could use hardened modern mountain bikes as infiltration tools.
I don't even want to touch this one.
